A Taste of Mexico: Discover Jacinta at Aventura Mall
December 3, 2025
The sound of clinking glasses. The warmth of a shared platter placed at the center of the table. The feeling of being welcomed into someone’s home. Jacinta, the newest concept from DZO Hospitality, brings that spirit to Aventura Mall. Named in tribute to the matriarchs who pass recipes down like heirlooms, Jacinta blends coastal Mexican flavors, contemporary design, and heartfelt hospitality into a destination made for gathering.
Designed by Madrid-based studio Hurlé & Martín, the space channels Mexico through a modern, Miami lens: white trencadís tile and green marble, woven natural fibers, hand-crafted ceramics, and an organic flow of terrazzo underfoot. Suspended greenery softens the light; a monumental tree sculpture crowns the bar; clay and macramé details nod to artisan craft. Indoors, the palette is warm and monochromatic; outside, a vibrant terrace extends the room to the breeze. It feels alive… open, welcoming, and unmistakably celebratory.
Eat, Share, Linger
Jacinta’s menu reads like a family table set for a feast. Coastal accents meet depth and tradition—queso fundido “Carlota” with black truffle, Oaxacan tetelas folded around huitlacoche, and almond-mole enmoladas that balance richness with brightness. From the sea: Ceviche La Sirena, bluefin tuna tostadas, and a shareable seafood & basmati rice casserole. From the cherry wood-burning grill: octopus al carbón, skirt steak with roasted poblano and guacamole, and a celebratory tomahawk meant to carve and pass. Vegetarians are equally at home with cauliflower al pastor tacos and veggie enchiladas in poblano cream. Portions encourage sharing and pacing invites conversation, allowing the vibe to stay a while.
The bar at Jacinta is a garden in glass. Margarita variations lead the way—La Famosa (apple, passion fruit, basil, lime, St-Germain) and Mango Tango (mango, mint, jalapeño essence)—alongside signatures like Dragon Spell (rum, passion fruit, dragon fruit, mint) and La Chata (horchata, banana liqueur, tequila or mezcal, cinnamon). A curated list of Mexican micheladas, craft beers, and wines from Valle de Guadalupe and Querétaro rounds out the pour. Whether it’s a quick meet-up or a table-for-many, the room adjusts to you.

With ample seating across the warm interior and expansive terrace, and a private party room, Jacinta is built for every kind of gathering: family dinners, holiday parties, birthday toasts, or “just because” nights that deserve a little glow.
Jacinta is located on the Lower Level near Bloomingdale’s.
