Come enjoy the fun at Rainbow Valley Playground, an artist-designed interactive playground located on the Lower Level.
The Rainbow Valley Playground is South Florida’s first indoor children’s playground designed by contemporary artists. Created by Miami-based artists Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, who are known collectively as Friends With You.
Rainbow Valley will enrich and inspire creativity in children in an interactive setting. Inspired by a story of the artist’s creation, the playground will guide children through Peeko, the baby mountain, and his adventure with Cloudy, his newfound friend, to the magical Rainbow Valley.
Aventura Mall’s Rainbow Valley Playground is the first art installation of Arts Aventura Mall, an initiative that seeks to enrich and enlighten patron’s shopping experience through exposure to the arts. For more information please visit the Aventura Mall Concierge Center or call 305-935-1110.

- Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Dogs are not permitted in any of the Mall’s water features, including fountains, the Gorillas in the Mist art installation, or the Rainbow Valley Playground.

Rules and Regulations
- Only children under 42″ in height
- All children are to be supervised and monitored by an adult (at least 18 years of age),
- identification will be requested accordingly.
- Play equipment is for children only.
- Benches are for sitting, not climbing.
- Running, jumping, or hitting is not permitted.
- Children and adults must wear cotton socks at all times.
- Pantyhose, and or peds sock types are not permitted.
- Food and drinks are not permitted.
- Use a nearby restroom to change diapers and/or mix bottles.
- Keep personal belongings on your person at all times.
- Aventura Mall is not responsible for lost articles or damage to property.
- Foul language and/or derogatory remarks are not tolerated.
- This playground is designed for small children. As a safety precaution pets are not allowed entry.
- Service animals specifically trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability are permitted to enter.
- Toys or balloons are not permitted inside the play area.
Note: Use the playground area at your own risk.
Violations of these rules and regulations may result in guest removal from the playground.
