Though Aventura Mall is an indoor shopping center, it also features beautifully landscaped outdoor areas that offer a refreshing connection to nature. Located near the Apple store, the ground floor outdoor courtyard—part of the latest expansion designed by Island Planning Corporation —is filled with native canopy trees like Mahogany, Black Ironwood, and White Tabebuia.
These lush surroundings are brought to life with interactive art installations, including the 93-foot Aventura Slide Tower by Carsten Höller and Gorillas in the Mist by The Haas Brothers, set among mature trees and fruiting bananas—creating a unique blend of nature, art, and leisure.
