The evolution of this coordinated ensemble has gone through a myriad of iterations yet one thing has remained the same. When put on, it immediately signals an air of sophistication and savoir-faire. Current fashion climate champions an individual interpretation of this ol’ time favorite stalwart. So, whether you prefer to pair yours with a crisp shirt and brogues or a fabulous T-shirt and sandals, it all starts with the well-constructed suit. Indochino

If you’re unafraid of color, then Indochino’s Sailsbury suit in green is for you. Spun from durable, heavyweight linen, this suit will most certainly stand out-in all the right ways. In addition to being custom made to unique measurements and specifications, this suit is thoughtfully constructed from high quality components. Canali at Bloomingdale’s

By all accounts an investment piece, the Siena textured classic fit suit by Canali available at Bloomingdale’s is a stunner. The multipurpose ensemble made in Italy, the suit’s jacket features a notch lapel, two-button closure, four non-functioning button cuffs, two front flap pockets, and a double vent. The pants are zip-fly with button closure and are tailored in a flat front with an unfinished hem. This classic will stand the test of time.

Brunello Cucinelli at Nordstrom

The granddaddy of quite luxury, Brunello Cucinelli’s Pinstripe Three-Button Linen Suit available at Nordstrom is the suit you reach for when you want it to do all the talking. Featured in wide stripes and made from a linen/wool/silk combo, the notched lapel jacket offers basted sleeves, a welt pocket at the chest, flap pockets at the hip, and double-vented back. Trousers executed in regular rise are unfinished in the hem to be tailored to the desired length.
