If you love a great libation, you’re in luck. National Cocktail Day is March 24, and we can’t think of a better reason to toast to our favorite bartenders.
We’ve hand-picked a few of our favorite cocktails, each available at some of Miami’s top restaurants here at Aventura Mall – and trust us, they’re as pleasing to the eye as they are on the palate:
PANI
Sip, sip, hooray! What’s more fun that a bubblegum pink cocktail? PANI’s Sexytini features gin, lemon juice, cucumber and simple syrup. The Instagram-worthy drink evokes memories of Sex and the City. Whether you’re more of a Carrie or a Samantha, it’s time to grab your girlfriends for a special toast.
CVI.CHE 105
Swift like a butterfly, sting like tequila. CVI.CHE 105’s vibrant Butterfly Pea 105 cocktail is a fabulously fruity cocktail. The magenta-hued creation features butterfly pea flower-infused tequila reposado, Amara mezcal, habanero-infused agave syrup, guava puree, and lime juice. The guava blends beautifully with the habanero-infused syrup to create a sweet drink with a dash of spicy edge.
Pubbelly Sushi
Mezcal and tequila lovers can rejoice at Pubbelly: the Japanese-Latin fusion restaurant never fails to bring the heat with its sushi, sake, and inventive cocktails. La Chula is a must-try drink made from 00 Conejos mezcal, Jose Cuervo tequila, ripe watermelon, jalapeño syrup, and lemon. It packs a punch you won’t soon forget.
Serafina
Serafina is constantly developing unique and flavorful signature cocktails to add to its growing menu. However, one tried and true cocktail from the restaurant’s inception remains their most ordered drink: the Liquid Passion, a drink featuring vodka, aperol, passion fruit puree, and fresh lemon juice. Sip this tropical cocktail al fresco on Serafina’s outdoor patio or at the bar – when it comes to the Liquid Passion, there are no wrong decision
Tap 42
Putting a spin on the beloved aperol spritz, Tap 42 Craft Kitchen and Bar continues to flex its creativity. The refreshing Guava Spritz consists of Ketel One vodka, aperol, pink guava, fresh lemon and basil. Delicioso.
