Years after ubiquitous tiny necklaces and mini pendants, we’re all ready for something just a tad more substantial. Leave it to the creative team at Tiffany & Co. to deliver big on this sizeable pivot. With an uncompromised commitment to style and quality Tiffany & Co. has delivered on impactful releases and recently unveiled its latest campaign titled “This is Tiffany” for the Tiffany T and Tiffany HardWear collections. The new campaign features house ambassadors, actress, singer, and model Zoë Kravitz, Jimin of 21st century pop icons BTS, and actress, Gal Gadot. The campaign distills the essence of Tiffany & Co.’s House icons to their very core. True, expressive, and real, the “This is Tiffany” campaign drives home the importance of being oneself. Proof that Tiffany jewelry is about how one wears it, the campaign is a celebration of individuality, joy, and optimism.
“Our “This Is Tiffany” campaign is an authentic homage to individual style. We may make the jewelry but it’s house ambassadors like Zoë, Jimin of BTS and Gal who give meaning to the collections and make our pieces all their own.” —Alexandre Arnault, Executive Vice President, Product & Communication, Tiffany & Co.
On the collections. Drawing inspiration from the House’s instantly recognizable logo, the Tiffany T collection is a pure, graphic construction, a collection powerful in its simplicity. The array of Tiffany T designs showcase bold and imaginative takes on the iconic “T” motif that has been used in Tiffany jewelry since the 1980s. Crafted from 18k rose, yellow and white gold, as well as sterling silver, there are designs with striking pavé diamonds, pieces set with precisely cut and highly polished stones—tiger’s eye, turquoise, pink opal and black onyx; as well as lustrous mother-of-pearl—all with their own imaginative take on the legendary motif.
With its graphic gauge link design that draws from the industrial roots and gritty-meets-glamourous spirit of New York City, the pieces from HardWear collection, first debuted in 2017, make for the cool girl’s ultimate fashion goodies, whether one’s dressing up or down. Inspired by a bracelet from 1971 found in the House’s archive, the Tiffany HardWear collection features bold designs that play with tension, proportion, and balance. An audacious, graduated chain of gauge links feels fresh without being extreme and represents the direction that’s on point with the new era of bolder is better. This year, a new extension launches a watch which feature a cushion-shaped case with a faceted Sapphire top glass resembling a full-cut diamond. A custom-locking mechanism directly secures the bracelet with diamond-accents—a nod to Tiffany & Co.’s heritage.
Both collections range from subtle to subversive, united via common threads of fierce elegance and striking sophistication. The campaign taps into those ethos in no small part thanks Kravitz, Jimin and Gadot dynamic personalities and uncompromised commitment to being themselves.
