Jimmy Choo collaborated with the world-renowned couture Parisian embroidery house Les Ateliers Vermont to create The Flower Series, a limited-edition collection of floral embellished Made-to-Order iterations of the iconic Jimmy Choo BON BON handbag inspired by ten destinations mapping the world – from New York to Mumbai, London to Seoul, Paris to Tokyo.
Fusing creative director Sandra Choi’s personal love of flowers with the global identity of the brand, each rendition celebrates the eternal beauty of flowers married with the personality of urban landscapes.
“Craftsmanship, creativity and a couture spirit have always been at the heart of Jimmy Choo – so I am thrilled to be able to work with the artisans of Les Ateliers Vermont to highlight the elemental foundations of Jimmy Choo’s DNA, to create something truly one-of-a-kind for our clients,” said Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo Creative Director.
Jean-Eudes Néton, creative director at Les Ateliers Vermont, added: “Combining the glamour of Jimmy Choo with the savoir-faire of Maison Vermont, our union was always going to be an exceptional collaboration of expertise. To create the embroidery, we added patches of flowers, as Sandra had envisioned, for a brooch-like finish. Each piece is almost like a jewel.’’
A couture proposition, The Flower Series is an expression of inspiration and a honing of craft – a celebration of the highest levels of savoir-faire possible at Jimmy Choo. A floral design encapsulates each destination, with a different flower embroidered shoe and matching BON BON handbag design dedicated to each city. Les Ateliers Vermont drew inspiration from their extensive archives to realize these bespoke embroideries adorning the collection, comprising a luxurious portfolio of fabrications including silk satin, shantung, taffeta, grosgrain, and all over mirror sequin and crystal.
Each style, for each city, is entirely unique embroidered by the skilled artisans of Les Ateliers Vermont, creating a truly collectable one-of-a-kind piece. MUMBAI is richly encrusted in deep pink and navy lotus blossoms on glistening sequins; graphic black foliage sketches an illustrative line of flowers across styles inspired by PARIS; modernity and tradition fuse in the neon blooms that decorate pieces dedicated to SEOUL; delicate Sakura flowers bloom across pieces devoted to TOKYO; and LONDON’s creative eccentricity is expressed through styles ‘dressed’ in bright pink tulle, as unexpected and irreverent as that city’s repute.

Five exclusive shoe silhouettes, inspired by Jimmy Choo’s signature pointed vamp pumps have been specially designed to provide a canvas for Les Ateliers Vermont’s exquisite needlework.
Proposing a true wardrobe encompassing everything from platform heels, slingback styles, kick heels and stilettos, all offered in different heights. The full spectrum of the made-to-order offering will also be made available to clients, providing endless styling opportunities to pair with the BON BON.
The Flower Series is an exploration of the true meaning of luxury – rare, specially conceived, hand crafted and the result of a dynamic creative exchange between London and Paris – yet it is a vision of modern luxury that spans the entire world.
