Is singing along to pop divas with Cody Rigsby your favorite cardio pastime? If you’re like us, you’ve likely gotten attached to Peloton’s incredible team of fitness instructors. Peloton riders can rejoice —you can now dress like your favorite teachers, too.
Adidas and Peloton just released its Capable of Greatness collection, the latest performance and lifestyle drop from the two brands’ ongoing partnership. The apparel collection features pre-, during, and post-workout styles for men and women.
“The Capable of Greatness Collection is a true celebration of the adidas and Peloton communities,” said Jessica Chiang, VP of Apparel, in a statement. “The collaborative process between adidas’ design team and Peloton’s best-in-class instructors allowed us to innovate as a team, designing thoughtful performance and lifestyle pieces that enable greatness during workouts and beyond.”
Ready to find your greatness? Here’s what to know about the new collection:
Made for the ’80s
The new Capable of Greatness collection brings a flash of the 1980s to 2022. The new designs include sweeping motion graphics inspired by the body’s movement on the Peloton Bike and tights with contrast-colored legs for a unique take on an 80s color palette. The pieces even feature reflective design elements that echo styles from the era’s workout attire.
“I can’t wait to rock these 80s-inspired looks in the studio,” said Love. (Ditto, Ally!)
Extra Support
One standout piece in the collection is the new Capable of Greatness bra. The design features unique technology that has re-engineered the material and style to benefit movement and add support. The new material and design allow fluid motion and size-inclusive support, important features for runners and riders.
Inclusivity in Sizing
Peloton and adidas both garner fans from around the world, making inclusivity in sizing a key priority. The collection consists of five men’s and six women’s designs for pre-, during and post-workout, available in sizes 3XS to 2XL. Each style is offered in multiple colorways with a palette that contains bright blues, violet tones, pulse limes and classic black and white.
Peloton Instructors Helped Design the Pieces
According to Courtney Yones, Senior Product Manager at adidas, Peloton instructors were able to chime in on the designs prior to production.
“This collection is a celebration of the greatness we see every day from our community, in their workouts and far beyond. The pieces were designed using Peloton instructor insights in true collaboration with Peloton and the Peloton community,” said Yones.
