Get ready for cuteness overload. The sartorial direction of the UK’s biggest brand for kids is here, and we can’t get enough of its charm appeal. This collection goes beyond the obvious and pulls at the Union Jack strings with stylish aplomb thanks to some clever play-on with its signature emblems.
Like the words splashed across the graphic tees displayed at Burberry’s Fall/Winter 2023 men and women collections, no doubt “change” and “growth” is at the forefront of the English brand, newly under the helm of a UK-born and bred Daniel Lee. His vision brings Burberry back to its British roots while celebrating the diversity of its riches. This approach takes on a darling shape in ‘Little London,’ the brand’s Autumn Winter 2023 childrenswear campaign.
Capturing the character and individuality of the next generation against a backdrop of miniature London landmarks, the campaign comes to life through a series of portraits and films. Celebrating Burberry’s connection to the capital, it presents a playful expression of its British heritage. And we think the end result couldn’t be any sweeter.
Burberry’s visual repertoire, comprising an array of heritage checks and graphic stripes, is hard to resist. Burberry Kids enables stylish parents to indulge in its signature, offering the clothing and shoes for which the British house is famed but with miniature proportions suited to growing boys, girls, and babies. Expect an expansive edit encompassing everything from sophisticated coats and jackets to striped skirts and bear print T-shirts – and, of course, lots and lots of vintage checks.
We are loving the current take on Burberry’s sartorial stalwarts. Punctuated with shades of red and blue, the collection animates baby staples, including a cozy cotton jumpsuit and hat. Inspired by the heritage designs, classic honey-hued trench coats in shower-resistant gabardine produced in Burberry’s Castleford factory are the ideal transitional layer. A trench dress in crisp cotton references the outerwear icon and is the perfect piece for special occasions. No doubt a big fashion hit-to-be, the Japanese denim pieces and cotton-piqué separates are brought to life with the oak leaf crest and logo – a reconstructed version of an archive emblem.
The cuteness continues with the signature teddy Thomas Bear, who cozies up for the season in a Burberry Check scarf printed on a hooded jacket with matching shorts and a pretty cotton-silk dress. To pick up something cute for your little one, visit Burberry Kids, located on the Upper Level.
