The alchemic beauty of a setting sun pervades Aesop Aventura in northern Miami, evoking memories of long, languid days in the Magic City. True to the Spanish word after which it is named, the area has become a playground for travelers and other thrill-seekers attracted to the lush vegetation and lavish architecture that are synonymous with the city--a spirit of unapologetic indulgence that the store's design aims to reinterpret.

A warm palette of orange, red, brown and copper is used throughout, with peachy-beige clay plaster walls whose fine-grained texture is reminiscent of sun-warmed sands. This radiant interior sits in contrast with the brushed travertine exterior—a monolithic threshold of stone, commonly seen in Floridian architecture.

Lustrous finishes such as a glossy resin floor and velvet-backed shelves nod to the hedonism of the city, revealed once the sun finally sets, while a large branching column fabricated from folded raw copper mirrors the palm trees that line the nearby shore—over time, age and oxidation will grace it with a singularly patinated appearance.

A Fragrance Library sits on the rear wall, displaying a range of characterful eaux de parfum, while a large basin lines the perimeter, offering customers the opportunity to experience skin, hair and body care formulations first-hand—and discuss those best suited to their individual needs with our trained consultants.
