Pubbelly Sushi Rolls Out Sunday Brunch

Pubbelly Sushi is known throughout South Florida for its Asian-fusion cuisine enhanced with the vibrancy and cultural influence of the region. Now, with the rollout of the restaurant’s Sunday brunch menu, the Pubbelly experience can be enjoyed during everyone’s favorite meal.

Every Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., guests will be able to choose from six sweet and savory flavor combinations carefully curated by five-time James Beard Foundation Award-nominated chef, José Mendín.

“We’ve been wanting to launch brunch at Pubbelly Sushi for a long time, but I wanted to be sure that we created a menu that honored and amplified the simplicity that comes with brunch dishes,” said Mendín. “Brunch also represents so much of what the Pubbelly brand stands for; its synonymous with food that is craveable and comforting, and it’s an experience that is social, energetic and fun. We took all these elements and gave them the ‘Pubbelly treatment’ of excellence and innovation.”

Highlights include the PBS Crispy Lox (pictured above) which features crispy rice squares topped with slices of Pubbelly’s cured salmon, a goat’s milk-infused cream cheese schmear, and traditional lox and bagel toppings. Also popular is the Breakfast Bao Bun, which adds a kick of Miami flavor to this classic Asian street food. It’s stuffed with freshly poached eggs, avocado tomatillo salsa, chopped bacon and chorizo, scallions, and spicy mayo. Need we say more?

The “East meets West” theme of the menu also carries into Pubbelly’s cocktail offerings. The Tropical Sake Mimosa, for instance, infuses pineapple and passion fruit purees with sake and sparkling rosé, while the Drunken Café con Leche (pictured above) includes Nigori sake, heavy cream and espresso.

For those who simply cannot decide, the Sangria Flight includes three flavors: tropical, lychee and watermelon. Alternatively, the Bloody Mary (above) is made with house sake, fresh lemon juice and Clamato.

Pubbelly Sushi is located in the outdoor courtyard near Apple and Aventura Slide Tower. For more information or to make a reservation, call 305-690-7710.
