Noteworthy Newcomers at Aventura Mall

Never one to rest on its laurels, the ever-innovative Aventura Mall continues to grow and morph its every evolving line up. From luxury brands to restaurants, home goods and sportswear, this year marks a great expansion at Miami’s most popular shopping destination. The new additions are sure to please the palettes of all Aventura Mall guests, from astute fashionistas to gourmet foodies.

Maison Margiela
Very few brands out on the landscape of fashionable “edge-dom” can elevate an average look into a memorable one. Atop that steep apogee sits a small atelier of creativity that clouds anyone wearing it with an instant upgrade. Stacked-heel tabi-toe boots, squishy Glam Slam bags, and blank labels held in place with four visible stitches are part of its visual vernacular. And now its pop-up is open at Aventura Mall on the Lower Level.

Celine

One of the most coveted French brands, Celine is the cool factor of a style that evokes Parisian sophistication with a “devil may care” spirit. Helmed by Hedi Slimane, Celine’s look embraces lean silhouettes, lots of 70’s and 80’s nostalgia, all tailored to perfection. Its DNA is buried in clean lines and understated sophistication. The designer of choice for unfussy bags and remarkable accessories for stylish and confident Floridians, the opening of this pop-up at Aventura Mall drew fashionistas from all corners of the state. Celine is located on the Lower Level.

The Bazaar Project

At the newly opened The Bazaar Project in Aventura Mall, every single product is carefully sourced by Yeliz Titiz, its cosmopolitan and uber well-traveled owner whose keen eye for unique décor pieces, fine jewelry, and apparel bars none. At Titiz’ new boutique, that joins two others in Miami, the offerings include whimsical curations, some exclusive to Aventura Mall. This global atelier reflects Titiz’ own proclivity for fusion of many influences and styles (she does come from a family of retail giants and has worked in fashion before embarking on this enterprise.) During your visit at The Bazaar Project, you may find yourself equally amused by a collection of Slim Aarons books, quirky hair accessories, and cheeky home décor items. Experience these unique pieces for yourself by visiting The Bazaar Project on the Lower Level near Bloomingdale’s.

Aesop

Established in Melbourne in 1987, and named after the Greek fabulist and storyteller, Aesop’s objective has always been to formulate products of the finest quality. The subjects of its purpose include skin, body, and hair care, as well as fragrance and accessories for self and space. In order to source just the right kind of components, Aesop investigates a wide range of plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients, using only those with a proven record of safety and efficacy. Renowned for its lingering herbal scents, the Aesop range has become an arbiter of not only good taste but also a stamp approval of high consumer consciousness. Aesop is located on the Upper Level.

Nike

While the brand needs no introduction, what is noteworthy about its Aventura Mall’s site is Nike’s first U.S. location of its Rise concept store, aka the brand’s “best expression” of sport performance for the full family, carrying men’s, women’s, kids as well as Jordan products. At Nike Aventura, the two-floor LED screens display real-time sports moments, seasonal brand campaigns and city-specific member data from the company’s Nike Training Club and Nike Run Club apps, so that “the community can see itself reflected in the store experience,” the company said in a release. Nike’s newest store also features a dedicated space for Nike By You, where consumers can become their own designers and customize sneakers and apparel just like they do on the brand’s digital sites.

Ba&sh
A shared love for fashion led best friends Barbara Boccara & Sharon Krief to create ba&sh. Their idea? To bring a dream wardrobe to life so that they could share it with other women. This is a brand truly made by women for women. The ba&sh style is distinctly Parisian, uniting an expression of freedom with an easy, joyful elegance. It is easy to recognize a ba&sh dress… The key? The happiness of the woman wearing it. Ba&sh is located on the Lower Level near Bloomingdale’s.

Garage
Perfectly encompassing the zeitgeist of Gen Z consumers, Garage is banking on its ability to connect with the visually oriented buyers of this generation, who seem to respond better to a brick-and-mortar experience then a digital one. Cute and wearable pieces abound at this highly stylized and poppy boutique where TikTok trends get diffused into affordable styles. Visit the store located next to American Eagle on the Upper Level.

Tacology Express
Tacology is a place where people can enjoy authentic Mexican food. Known for fresh flavors mixed with traditional recipes, only top-quality ingredients are used to create the crow favorite appetizers, tacos, tostadas, tortas and desserts. Dr. Martens
The footwear of choice of iconoclasts and rebels, Dr. Martens is setting up shop at Aventura Mall this fall. On a stylistic level, Dr. Martens’ simple silhouettes allows their wearers to adopt the boots as part of their own individual and distinctive style; on a practical level, their famous durability and comfort make them ideal for the unforgiving world of flexing and street fashion. Finally, they connect with anyone seeing badge of attitude and empowerment. Consider that a perfect seasonal pairing.

Romero Britto
Unless you are living under a rock, Romero Britto’s visual language should appear familiar. The Brazilian-born, Miami-made founder of Happy Art Movement is credited with creating an iconic visual language that’s vibrant, bold, and patterned. A reflection of Britto’s optimistic mindset, his style draws from the likes of Pablo Picasso, Keith Haring, and Roy Lichtenstein and has become somewhat synonymous with creative expression of Miami itself. Britto’s work has been exhibited in the most prestigious galleries and museums including the Carrousel Du Louvre and Museu Nacional de Belas Artes and at the end of this year it is slated to take up retail residence at the Aventura Mall. Deeply rooted in the notion that “art is too important not to share,” the space will likely feature his multi-disciplinary pieces along with wide ranging product line from clothing to accessories and home décor.
