The geometry of a round shape is playfully contrasted with the sharp angles and drawn lines of the Cut collection, making this series of watches universally appealing and giving them a distinct identity that only someone who has this timepiece on their wrist can achieve.

The satin-brushed and polished case balances its proportions while the crown, uniquely positioned at half past one and embellished with an H—lacquered or engraved—adds to its originality. The bevel-cut bezel frames a generous dial with a curved edge, punctuated by precisely applied Arabic numerals. The embossed font complements the subtleness of the watch and adds a shimmering effect to time read-off.

An Inside Look

What makes the Hermès Cut collection tick is the mechanical self-winding, powered by a Manufacture Hermès H1912 movement. This system, revealed through the sapphire crystal case back, drives the watch’s display of hours, minutes, and seconds. The hour and minute hands are polished, phosphorescent, and partly open worked, and also feature a large seconds hand with a luminous dot that sweeps over the silver-toned dial with its grey- and orange-accented minutes track.

Asserting its versatility and timelessness, the Hermès Cut collection offers a seamlessly integrated metal bracelet with supple links, a rounded profile, and alternating finishes that pick up the case design. Available in all steel or an elegant two-tone combination of steel and rose gold, with 56 bezel-set diamonds or without, the watches in this collection can also be worn with a uniquely designed rubber strap, in a range of eight colors inspired by signature Hermès: white, orange, gris perle, gris étain, glycine, vert croquet, bleu jean, and capucine.
