Fashion Floats in Hermès’ Latest Collection

Lighter than air – that’s the premise of the latest collection by Hermès artistic director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, who wanted to convey a sense of sunny optimism for the Spring 2022 collection that’s just arrived in the brand’s boutique at Aventura Mall. Wispy and ethereal, in hues meant to evoke thoughts of sunsets, Vanhee-Cybulski’s clothes practically floated down the runway, which also makes them perfect for South Florida’s sultry days and balmy nights.

The house’s highly coveted silk scarves likewise convey these breezy ideas among their latest releases, sure to be snapped up by both collectors and fashion aficionados eager to employ the world’s most legendary silks to the season’s must-have headscarf trend. Feathers indeed are a key Hermès motif for the season, notably in the “Plumets et Panaches” prints designed by Parisian illustrator Florence Manlik, who deftly blends notions of lush yet lightweight feathers with the label’s iconic equestrian themes to create designs that feel wholly new, yet never stray too far from the lust-worthy vibe that can be discovered within 90 square centimeters of colorful, chic silk.

Hermès is located on the Lower Level. For more information, call 786-791-2240.
