Emilia Clarke for Dior
The assemblage created by Victoire de Castellane, the creative director of Dior Joaillerie, features short and long necklaces and bracelets in white, rose or yellow gold, mother-of-pearl, lapis lazuli, turquoise, onyx and pink opal. (Dior boutique can be found inside of Bloomingdale’s at Aventura Mall.)
"I wanted to move on from the idea of a little motif pendant. And what is more allegorical than a medallion?" explained de Castellane. "In this symbol of travel we find Christian Dior's star, and the idea of a good-luck charm, but also the rose, his favorite flower. The whole history of the House is hinted at."
Clarke is house’s first celebrity ambassador of its dazzling jewelry range. Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, the campaign puts the glamorous Brit in the company of other revered celebrities fronting Dior’s other creations that includes Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard, Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson.
