CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN DEBUTS FRAGRANCE LINEAfter three years of scrupulous experimentation, Louboutin has created three perfumes, each with a distinct and different personality. The scents are meant to embody personal remembrances of vivid emotions and inspiration.
The first scent, Bikini Questa Sera (translated “Bikini Tonight,” in Italian) is designed to capture the moment when a day at the beach turns toward twilight but the sensual feeling of heat lingers. The scent has tuberose, jasmine and sandalwood.
The second scent, Tornade Blonde, refers to a trail of golden light and is meant to evoke feelings of desire. The formula has botanical notes of cassis, rhubarb, and rose. It is designed to be floral yet animalistic, with notes of cedarwood and sandalwood.
The third scent, Trouble in Heaven, was created as a scent of provocation. Notable ingredients in this scent are iris, tonka absolut, patchouli and oriental amber.
The fragrances are displayed in magnificently crafted bottles, showcasing the perfume to be regal, timeless, and sacred. Louboutin partnered with the Thomas Heatherwick, who designed the torch in the London Olympics, because he wanted a bottle reminiscent of a trophy that a woman could be proud of.
Priced at $275, each fragrance is available at the Christian Louboutin shop-in-shop at Nordstrom Aventura Mall.
