Tory Burch Encourages Women to #EmbraceAmbition

Advancing the careers of ambitious female entrepreneurs is at the forefront of the Tory Burch Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers a facet of tools to empower women.  Since its inception in 2009, the Foundation has provided these entrepreneurs with access to capital, education and digital resources. Its multifaceted approach has earned it a widespread reputation of success, and women throughout the United States are reaping the rewards.

When the Foundation hosted its first Embrace Ambition Summit in New York City in 2018, more than 1,000 attendees turned out, and 400,000 livestream viewers tuned in to listen as leaders and activists discussed confronting stereotypes and creating new norms.

Women who already own a business can apply to the Foundation for assistance, choosing from three avenues outlined at For financial aid, there are numerous resources available, including a capital program with Bank of America that offers access to affordable loans through community lenders; entrepreneurial education via a partnership with Goldman Sachs’s 10,000 Small Businesses program, which provides female small-business owners with business and management education; and mentoring and networking opportunities through a host of business leaders.

Women entrepreneurs, and those seeking to help others, can lend their support by shopping Tory Burch’s #EmbraceAmbition collection, which features several special-edition pieces in which one hundred percent of the net proceeds benefit the Foundation.

Choose from the Embrace Ambition Bracelet ($30), which is made of silk, available in six colors, and features an engraved charm and brass Gemini Link (the brand’s symmetrical double-link design that’s a graphic abstraction of its iconic logo); the Embrace Ambition Perry Triple-Compartment Tote ($348); and the Embrace Ambition T-Shirt ($68).
