Shop in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 2, 2019

Reading Time: 6 minutes

October brings to mind sweater weather, pumpkins and Halloween festivities. However, among the sea of orange and black this time of year, there are bright bursts of pink signifying October’s most important initiative: Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This year, we kicked off our support in late September by hosting more than 500 guests for The Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative’s Pink Walk. Now, visit Aventura Mall to shop for a cause at several of our retailers offering promotions and donating proceeds from select purchases to benefit life-saving breast cancer organizations.

See below for a list of month-long events, in-store promotions and products that give back to breast cancer education, research and awareness. Together, we can help save lives and lead the way to a future without breast cancer.

Aerie

“KO” breast cancer with Aerie’s limited-edition sports bras and leggings created in partnership with Bright Pink, which helps raise funds for Breast and Ovarian Cancer awareness. 100% of the proceeds from the piece will be donated to the non-profit in support of Aerie’s “Take Care of Your Girls” campaign.

Ann Taylor

Give back to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® with the purchase of a $25 Ann Taylor Cares Card or the brand’s specially designed scarves. Ninety percent of the proceeds from these items go to the non-profit organization, for which Ann Taylor has helped raise more than $44 million since 2005.

Since 2001, the Aveda network has donated more than $4.7M to Breast Cancer Research Foundation® to help find a cure.

Feel a sense of support every time you sip from the Bloomingdale’s exclusive S’well Ghostly Ferns Message Bottle, which speaks to the strength of being a breast cancer fighter. Finally, shoppers can earn $25 in rewards for every $250 spent on their Bloomingdale’s Credit Cards through November 3. In turn, they’ll receive a Give Pink, Get More Card in November—just in time for holiday shopping.
