New York Fashion Week took over the Empire State earlier this month, and fashionistas around the world are still buzzing about all the incredible collections and trends that debuted on the runways. Lots of designers showcased looks that focused on volume — from big, diaphanous dresses to tops and skirts that brought major drama by using billowy shapes. It’s a fresh change from the sleek lines and tailored looks that dominated the runways last fall.
We saw plenty of veils on the runways at this year’s New York Fashion Week. Rocking one on the street is a bold move, for sure, but we think the romance and whimsy it adds to any look is totally worth the risk and a great way to earn major style points.

From floor-length cuts to shorter — yet still sweeping — iterations, this is one trend that’s proven to flatter every body type and definitely one you can easily incorporate into your everyday fashion.
