Longines has long been recognized for creating watches that exude craftsmanship, luxury and innovation. The brand’s latest release, the Conquest V.H.P. GMT Flash setting, manages to balance all three with a level of convenience and global functionality that is sure to impress even the worldliest of Miami shoppers.
Sporty yet sophisticated, and modern yet timeless, the Conquest V.H.P Flash Setting is unique in regard to its cutting-edge, state-of-the-art and light-driven management system.
Designed for travel lovers, the system allows users to update the watch’s time zone by simply identifying their location in a smartphone app. The information on the app is transmitted to the watch via light pulses emitted by the phone’s flash into a tiny opening in the watch dial.
Remarkably, the app requires no WiFi or Bluetooth connection, enhancing the watch’s overall convenience and versatility.
The timepiece builds on the features already offered by the brand’s V.H.P. (“Very High Precision”) collection, which include an extended battery life, interactive smart crown, innovative Gear Position Detection (GPD) system, and a perpetual calendar that extends to the year 2399.
The watch is offered in steel and black PVD, and comes in two sizes — 41- and 43-mm. It is available with either a blue, carbon fiber, silvered or black dial, and shoppers can choose between a PVD bracelet in steel or black, or a rubber watch strap in blue or black to complete the look.
