Monogram collection at Burberry
It took Riccardo Tisci all but one show to take a step forward for fall, tightening up the show, clarifying his vision and making a return to that classy streetwear for which he’s known. Be sure to check out the monogram collection, a big campaign for the brand celebrating its logo mania.
Dots Crepe dress with belt at Carolina Herrera
The fall collection at the doyenne of elegance manifests the rich life of the Manhattan bohemian. Inspired by the maximalist, the new collection is defined by bold, realistic femininity, color and movement that reflects the CH girl.
Runway look available at Y-3
For Y-3’s fall collection, Yohji Yamamoto continued to work on accommodating the body’s movement with as much ease as physically possible while maintaining a healthy fashion component. Brand references entered a new graphic realm, and included a chunky, intertwined Y and 3, figuring prominently on a loosened take on the letterman’s jacket.
Skirt and top available at Anne Fontaine
A bit of unchartered territories, Anne Fontaine explores darker and printed territory. Though her take for Fall 2020 is floral, it is a small departure for the designer known for white shirts and clean palette.
Fall collection available at DVF
At the core of fall at DVF are the building-block pieces to mix and match. The twist on what would be predictable this season the offerings delight with prints that say “notice me,” but most are calm enough to own in multiples.
Fall looks available at Louis Vuitton
Nicolas Ghesquière’s fall collection for Louis Vuitton is full of whimsical looks from start to finish. The line includes elements of bold patterns, outlandish silhouettes, and a color-palette that is seemingly both functional yet accessible.
Wild statements available at Maje
Judith Milgrom, the head designer at the French mainstay, kept it mostly dressy for her fall collection, with an array of tuxedo and suit jackets that added a layer of sheen to a smart, Parisian-girl lineup.
Fall collection available at Rebecca Taylor
Having recently moved to Paris, Rebecca Taylor is exploring the rich history of the culture and this fascination is translating onto her line. This fall there are subtle military references in her collection—the pink padded jacket, the check double-breasted coat trimmed with brass buttons—and a few racks over, there were some great cargo pants from her little-sister line, La Vie.
Red dress available at Red Valentino and as worn by Mandy Moore
The fall collection at Red Valentino draws on the movement and poetry of dance with easy plissé dresses in chinoiserie prints and leotard-inspired base layers to counteract the collection’s many lace and point d’esprit pieces.
