EAST Miami Reveals Installation by Carlos Betancourt
EAST Miami is hosting an exclusive cocktail party in celebration of his latest installation. Working with Ximena Caminos, famed Argentine curator and recently appointed Artistic Visionary Planner for The Underline, EAST, Miami has joined forces with multidisciplinary artist, Carlos Betancourt to create an exclusive installation that takes inspiration from the local city and explores what it means to live in the urban environment. ‘On the Edge: The Hopeful Forest’ will be on display in the lobby, featuring a series of totems made from re-purposed, abandoned objects found in the surrounding community. Doors will be open to the public starting at 7:30 p.m.

The House of Ruinart and Brazilian artist Vik Muniz are hosting a treasured sunset celebration at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden fusing art and gastronomy through the release of limited-edition Ruinart x Vik Muniz prints and expertly curated bites by friend Chef Daniel Boulud. Proceeds from the signed prints will benefit Imazon, a Brazilian research institute dedicated to promoting conservation and sustainable development in the Amazon.

A new exhibition by Versace and friend of the House, interior designer, Sasha Bikoff will debut during Art Basel Miami Beach and Design Miami. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s rich heritage, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces designed by Bikoff will be displayed together with the archive looks they drew inspiration from. Versace’s Miami Design District boutique will also showcase three settings designed by Bikoff, first presented at FuoriSalone during Milan Design Week 2019, located in Miami Design District’s Palm Court.
