Fringe

Fall will usher in thrills and frills. Fringe danced along Milan Fashion Week runways, debuting as a hit statement-maker in collections from Prada. Dare to do a twirl in playful fringe skirts paired with structural tops or a subtlety detailed blouse. Fringe embellishments will add an dynamic movement and an element of intrigue to your look.

Power Sleeves

Larger than life sleeves ruled Fendi’s Milan presentation, leaving an equally large impression.  The billowing sleeves shift the power dynamics in a classic dress or romper, making each piece unapologetically bold. Say goodbye to the power suit, and hello to these commanding closet necessities.

Ruffles

Tiers upon tiers of ruffles made waves on the Milan Fashion Week runways. Defying the conventional use of feminine ruffles, Max Mara used the design trend to elevate suit tops and blouses with a sophisticated edge. The fearless sleeves are perfect for the woman who isn’t afraid of taking up space.

From models clad in ’70s-inspired pantsuits to girlish pinafores, Michele pulled influence from the most unlikely of places. The real showstoppers of the collection were magnificent lace gowns that combined Renaissance elegance with the Wild West.
