Security & Safety

The safety of our visitors, retailers and employees is our top priority.

Aventura Mall’s comprehensive security program includes well-trained personnel from a private, highly regarded security firm, as well as on-duty, uniformed Aventura Police Department officers. Working together, they proactively monitor our entire property to help ensure a safe, family-friendly environment. Our security team also maintains solid relationships with state and federal law enforcement agencies.

We take great pride in our state-of-the-art security/safety technology and programs. Uniformed officers patrol the property on foot, bicycles, golf carts, SUVs and three-wheel, stand-up electric vehicles, as well as with K9 units.

We also believe preparation is key and conduct regular lockdown drills to be ready for emergency scenarios.

If You See Something. Say Something.

Always be alert. Call 911 to report suspicious activity or an emergency. For any other questions or concerns, contact the Security team at 305-933-5559. We also remind shoppers to take proper precautions. Always lock your vehicle doors and don’t leave valuables in plain sight, including cell phones, purses, wallets and clothing.

Code of Conduct and Parental Escort Policy

To ensure a comfortable, safe experience for all our visitors, Aventura Mall implements a code of conduct for all guests and a parental escort policy for teens.

Escalators

For your safety, please do not use strollers or wheelchairs on escalators and do not use the escalators as stairs when they are not operational.
