Michael Mina, Ayesha Curry to Bring International Smoke to Aventura Mall this Summer
Serafina Opens Today; Tap 42, Le Pain Quotidien and Rosetta Bakery to Debut March/April
AVENTURA, FLA. – March 14, 2018 – Aventura Mall’s growing collection of destination restaurants is about to get even hotter! International Smoke, the wildly popular collaboration between lifestyle expert and bestselling cookbook author Ayesha Curry and chef Michael Mina will open this summer in Aventura Mall’s new piazza next to Aventura Slide Tower, the 93-foot-tall spiral structure by artist Carsten Höller.
Inspired by Curry’s and Mina’s individual heritages and travels, International Smoke explores global approaches to fire, grilling, and smoke to create flavorful dishes. Curry and Mina have created a menu that highlights an array of quality spices, products, and cooking techniques from around the globe. The first International Smoke restaurant opened last November in San Francisco and additional ones are planned for Houston and San Diego.
Chef Mina’s MINA Group manages more than 34 restaurants, including BOURBON STEAK at Turnberry Isle Miami and STRIPSTEAK and PIZZA & BURGER at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Curry is a New York Times best-selling cookbook author and host of ABC’s The Great American Baking Show and Ayesha’s Home Kitchen on Food Network. She is married to NBA superstar Stephen Curry.
